    LEGO has added images for The Hobbit sets to their server although as far as I can see they are not actually listed in the shop yet. We therefore have some great alternative images for them now which you can see on the set details pages linked to here.

    Toys R Us (UK) seems to have put them on the shelves in most branches before they should. My local (Portsmouth) had four of the six out (no Goblin King or Wargs) this morning. It has been said in the comments to yesterday's article that 79004 Barrel Escape is a TRU exclusive in the UK which is plausible given that neither Smyths nor Amazon are listing it, so we are unlikely to see it at a discount for a while, if at all.

    They seem to be available in the USA in many stores as well now, including Wal-Mart, so I'm told. (BTW, Happy Thanksgiving...)

All the sets in the line are / were available at our local TRU. A bit shocked but no longer surprised at some of the prices, but that's how things are I suppose.

All except for the exclusives were available at multiple Wal-Marts in my part of Nebraska, USA. I was shocked to see them available so soon.

Wargs were on-shelf in the Ipswich TRU on the 20th, not sure they had the Goblin King set though.

@stevolteon I popped into Ipswich TRU tonight and got all 6 sets, Goblin King were in the boxes ready to be put on the shelves so helped myself :-)

Huw, why don't you split the Hobbit theme into 3 subthemes, like the LOTR sets? An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug, There and Back Again.

With the exception of the goblin king set and the barrel escape set(obviously), I found all others at a walmart in western Pennsylvania yesterday. Hope to find the last 2 at a toysrus if I brave going out this weekend :) i really wish these were going to be available on the shop site for black friday. You'd think lego would have wanted to make them available on the site for all the online madness. Maybe there are some kind of deadline/street date issues though.

Picked up Bag End last night with $10 off any purchase coupon at TRU. Everything except Barrel Escape is out in Edmonton (saw a couple Galaxy Force sets, too).
