We don't normally clutter up the home page with individual bargains but this one is worth a mention as it's probably the best 'Brick Friday' bargain we'll see this side of the Atlantic. 10226 Sopwith Camel is currently priced at €51 at Amazon.fr.

I've just placed an order for one and the total including shipping came to £48.02 which is a 40% discount, the likes of which is rare to see on a LEGO Exclusive set.

If you're in the market for one yourself, head on over to Amazon.fr before it's too late: you know how fickle Amazon's prices are!

(Thanks to DrDave for the news)

Posted by DrDaveWatford in United Kingdom, 23 Nov 2012 12:30

Yep - amazon.fr now out of stock for immediate delivery BUT you can still order from them at €51.06 if you're prepared to wait - click on the amazon.fr box on the right side of the screen. Delivery in 3-5 weeks.

Posted by lucienc in United Kingdom, 23 Nov 2012 12:55

It's now up to EUR 79,90.

Posted by neomonkey in United States, 23 Nov 2012 12:58

I was going to get on this deal but they won't ship to America. =(

Posted by vistuk in Slovakia, 23 Nov 2012 13:07

I ordered it too.

Posted by Isabella and Lego Liker in United States, 23 Nov 2012 13:58

And also 7.30 for shipping as well.

Posted by Ulli in Germany, 23 Nov 2012 14:04

Delivery between X-Mas and New Year, and limited to 2, but hey, almost a 2 for 1 Deal! Not that bad! :-))

Posted by Olamisai in Finland, 23 Nov 2012 14:42

For those seeing the price as 79,90€ try clicking on the link for other sellers " 3 neufs à partir de EUR 51,06 " and the top choice is.. amazon.fr at 51€ :-)

Ok, for my order the shiping date is 26th Dec.. but at that price I can wait.

I ordered one two hours ago. Thank you very much for the info.

Yeah, I decided to bite too. Was looking at the Sopwith model in the bluewater store today but felt £72 was still a bit steep. But £47 is too good a deal to pass up.

Posted by Bonaparte in Belgium, 23 Nov 2012 17:56

I was planning on skipping the Sopwith Camel, but this is half the official price (and free shipping to Belgium), so I couldn't resist. Bought via the Brickset link. Thanks for this!

Thx DrDaveWatford for the hint - I almost slept in today but I got hold of 2 :) - sweet

Posted by Mickitat in Germany, 24 Nov 2012 11:27

Didn't make it, too bad.

Posted by Plauge in Austria, 24 Nov 2012 12:12

Aiii, missed it..

Posted by goldfish in United Kingdom, 24 Nov 2012 12:41

I am genuinely glad I restrained/missed it. I seem to have gradually got trapped in to buying things based on discount amount rather than what I want!

Posted by AlexWeston in United Kingdom, 24 Nov 2012 16:04

^i know how you feel - its too easy to jump at the bargains that appear on a regular basis and then think about where the hell you're going to put it when it's built, later! Still, I've wanted this one for a while. VW camper next for discount please!

Posted by fitzyfitz in United Kingdom, 24 Nov 2012 19:41

^ and ^^ indeed...I have an as yet unopened 7938 from Amazon Italy. At least with the Sopwith Camel I know I can build it and leave it at that (and if required, probably sell at a profit in the future), whereas the passenger train is just begging for a whole bunch of extra stuff to go with it.

Posted by johnnyfinlandia in Finland, 25 Nov 2012 07:42

I ordered two Sopwith Camels and they should be delivered before 03.12 so very happy. Also got an email saying I got a FREE €10 voucher for other stuff:

"We are pleased to offer you a discount of 10 euros to be used to purchase clothing, shoes, bags, watches and jewelery" - shame it is not Lego. :(

I did pay 2x postage on the sets though which was a little disappointing (to Finland) but €117 in total for 2 so not too bad.

Just got my Sopwith!!! :-))
