Yesterday's trawl of LEGO.com's instructions page revealed two new Galaxy Squad polybags along with new instructions for 2013 sets which, as always, you can see listed on our new instructions page.

30230, pictured, is called 'Mini Mech', and 30231 'Space Insectoid'.

Furthermore, inventories for the Hobbit sets have been added to LEGO.com. Links to them are on our new new inventories page.

A couple of interesting polybags here, but I would much rather have got some more Aliens rather than these figures. Nevertheless the Mini Mech one in particular looks quite good to me.

Yes, the aliens are a bit thin on the ground, aren't they...

I really hate that polybags don't come to my country, the both of them are rather cool.

The mini mech reminds me of the smaller classic space sets.

Are the wings of the alien insect 30231 new pieces? The polybags are reaaly cool. Hope they come in the next sun promotion.

I really like the mini mech. I wonder where these will be available...

@crazycrisplego - According to the instructions, the wings in 30231 seem to be ordinary 1x4 tiles, but in a new color for that piece (they appear to be trans-neon green).

Space insectoid? I see what you did there!

Seriously, I don't know wether it was intended, but it could very well be a homage to the Insectoids theme. Otherwise they would have named it 'space insect' or 'space mosquito' or something.

@Toa Of Justice - Thank you for clearing that up.

I like the mech walker thing. It's a nice set. I hope these are easier to find than the Alien Conquest polybags.

You and I both TGBG.

I can see these selling out pretty quickly wherever they're found. Good parts, useful minifigs, and you're not buying ANOTHER set of wheel/tires that're only going to get tossed into a bucket.
