    Unfortunately revenue from the affiliate links doesn't quite stretch to the £170,000 needed for a real Ferrari 458 Italia, so I was very pleased to receive the LEGO version, and the other Shell polybags from Andrew in Singapore, who runs the excellent blog Smashing Bricks, recently.

    Checking who on BrickLink has them for sale to get an idea of where they have made an appearance suggests that it's still only the far east and Italy so far, but we know that it will be a global promotion, so we should all be able to get our hands on them in 2013.

    I was going to do a bit of a review of it, but I see that Orthobotrex has done an excellent job of reviewing all seven of them, so I needn't bother. Here's his review of 30194 Ferrari 458 Italia. You can find the others in the list of all his reviews.

Huw, that is very encouraging. I am really very pleased to hear the continuation of many more good months of Brickset. It has been a wonderful experience to always keep myself abreast with the Brickset developments. Great to know that you are enjoying the LEGO Shell racers polybags. It's very nice of Andrew to help you out to get this without resorting to source in the secondary market.

Just curious how the cars (not the truck or F1 racer) scale up to a minifig? Would the cars be out of scale in a CITY environment?

Global, except in likely the only country in Europe without any sodding Shell stations. Pulled out of here maybe 5 years ago.

This is late, but thanks for featuring my reviews, Huw. This means a lot to me.

I hope everyone gets to enjoy these cool cars. Which also makes me wonder if there will be other versions in the future?

@tcwan: Now we know. But I don't think I will have the luck in reassembling that thing should it go bonkers. All the pullback motors I remember disassembling out of curiosity ended up useless when the coils got out.
