Series 3, and a 4...Ahrien in Barcelona, Spain, sent me this picture today of the new Planet sets in his local TRU. Notice anything strange about it?

Yes, there's four of them. The three series 3 and the B-Wing from series 4, which isn't supposed to be out for a few months yet.

There's still no sign of any 2013 Star Wars on the shelves in the UK, as far as I know, so I can only assume that LEGO UK hasn't shipped any out yet (unless you know otherwise).

He's kindly going to send me the B-Wing so hopefully I can bring you an exclusive review early next week!

ARGH! I'm addicted to these little suckers, and I can't find Series 3 here in Florida! I have the money, why won't Lego just give me the sets and take it? (' )~( ,)

FYI, the German consumer catalog (http://cache.lego.com/Flash/Portal/OnlineCatalog/de-de/Version13/pageflipdata/pdf/lego_januar-juli.pdf) lists May for both series 3 and 4.

Interesting, these seems to be quite a varied spread of dates for quite a few sets. BTW, how do you find the links to the catalogue PDFs? Is there a UK one? I've tried manipulating the URL but haven't found it yet...

I like these little sets. They have (usually) a nice looking figure and a neat little build.

The German product page has a link to the catalogue at the top right, which can be seen here: http://www.lego.com/de-de/products/

Clicking the link takes you through to an "animated" catalogue (the eyes of the Friends characters blink and the Chima Chi crystals flash on their respective pages, and the LotR pages have some nifty effects animations) where you can download the PDF dcmal linked to above.

The UK site doesn't have the same link, and neither do the US or Danish sites.

^^^, ^:

Or just follow the link http://lego.com/Katalog (mind capitalisation, it's important) ;)

The link can be found in the (print) catalog. I was a bit frustrated I didn't see it earlier so that the Italian version stole all the attention. ;)

EDIT: To answer the second question: I've been looking for a UK catalog quite a bit, but I start to suspect there isn't one yet.

@Huw We visited the Stratford store yesterday and they told us the new Star Wars sets would be available from the 1st January 2013. They said they had new SW and the TMNT in the store room already, but could not put them out until tomorrow.

This is the first time I've heard of these new planets. So, we've had the moon called Endor. Is this supposed to be the planet Endor around which the moon revolves? Kinda neat. I also love the asteroid belt. Hilarious.

As far as I know, all 6 planets (Series 3 & 4) are planned to be launched in January in Spain

Posted by DarthZared in United Kingdom, 31 Dec 2012 13:19

My catalogue arrived earlier on this week, filled with all of the January sets. On the Star Wars pages, it says that the sets will be available from January 1st. Tomorrow I'll order the 4 sets that are on my wishlist because there is free delivery at shop.lego.com until January 14th I think.

The three planet sets and all of the 2013 SW stuff, including the Battle for Hoth, are in my local Lego Store. Spent £149 in there yesterday.

Oh, hi - I'm new!
