Was interested in picking up a handful of these but postage shows at $18 to ship to the UK, which makes it cost- prohibitive for me... shame...

If you check back now the international shipping rate should not be so outrageous. Please note the promotional code will only work once. If you tried to purchase another order you will get the error code. This is to prevent people for making multiple purchases so that more people can get in on the deal. You can order up to 100 at a time so decide ahead of time how many you would like before making your final purchase. Thank you, Jack.

The reason that you are getting the error code/message is that in order to take advantage of the promo you will need to register as a customer on our web site. Unfortunately, this is the only way for us to control that the promo code be used by the same person once. Let me apologize for not realize you have to register before you can use the promo code. I am the person who sent the information to Huw. Jack told me about this design issue in our eCommerce software and I forgot to include that info in the promo. We are a small company with so much to do, like trying to find great deal for Brickset readers and provide the best customer service possible, we sometimes forget important info. I am writing all these issues down so it won't happen on the next promo.

Tried to purchase without becoming a registered user of the site... got the error message. Tried again after registering, entered the promo code, and now 10 of these babies are on the way! Great deal!

Only seemed to happen when creating an account upon checkout, rather than make an account ahead of time.

Took the plunge and ordered, with postage at the new international shipping rate... just had an e-mail offering a partial refund for over-charging, bringing it down to a far more respectable amount. Many thanks to Jack at Chowren Toys...

Am I the only person who had one of these? I got it a long time ago, one for Brickmaster, and a local Wal-Mart had a ton of them for a few years after 2005. Wish I had known how rare they were...

Just a quick reminder. Monday 01/21/13 is a postal holiday in the US. Any order that did not get processed will have to go out on Tuesday. However, we will continue process pass the 1:00 pm carrier pick up deadline and I will drop off the orders at post office. Thanks.

I bought 30, and Jack was nice enough to actually CALL me internationally to tell me that they overcharged $3 on shipping, so they threw in 2 more!
