Is there some trick to this? Usually it seems that this type of stuff only ever happens if you order like $300 or more.

Oh wait. I really should have looked at the image before I said that.

(sorry for the double post)

Yeah, sorry, should have added 'on orders over $99' !

It always seems that they have free shiping when I don't want anything. The only thing I am looking at buying now is that new coast guard-rescue set. Just type helicopter in the search area above and select 2008 when you get the results. I have seen a photo of this set in Lego magazine so I hope that we get a photo on this site soon.

Oh man. I just places an order a couple of days ago. But its ok. I did get $5.00 off.

In Lego Magazine:
$5.00 off an order $35.00 or more. Enter code: SP117
Offer ends December 31, 2007 at 11:59pm EST.

There is also a coupon in the magazine for $5.00 off any purchase of $35.00 or more at the Lego Store. Coupon expires 12/31/07.

Anybody want it? I live in Ohio and I don't see myself get to a Lego Store anytime soon.

I wish there was this offer here in Ireland. Orders over €75 ($110) require €15 ($22) for standard shipping.

It means anything beyond a gigantic order isn't worthwhile.

Cool! I always hate to pay for shipping(and tax).

Just a friendly reminder to those that live near a LEGO store... if there is something you want that they have online, but the neighborhood LEGO store does not have it, you can go into the store and order it from lego.com and still get free shipping. :) just a reminder with the holidays coming up and the all the sales.

Posted by usmingan, 18 Nov 2007 08:24

and you have to be IN the store to get free shipping. I should have put that reminder in there as well. sorry!

ya. im gonna use that offer to get a bunch of sets along with that 5 buks off the magazine gives us and use that lego store coupon over thanksgiving break.

Posted by Reed9277, 20 Nov 2007 19:32

Do you have to click on the "Buy" icons on Brickset? Or can I just add things to the cart at the LEGO store and then quote the code?

Posted by legoville410 in United States, 20 Nov 2007 19:48

no but it helps brickset stay up!

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 24 Nov 2007 13:58

The free shipping can't be combined with clearance items, coupons, Brickmaster coupons, codes, etc. One or the other. When I applied the FSA99 code, a set that was 50% off went to the regular price! This promotion and the Brickmaster coupons are a joke! Don't sign up for Brickmaster thinking the coupons will come in handy whenever you want to use them. I wanted to use them and they would have cost me the 50% discount on a 100 dollar set. Save 5 bucks or 50? Easy choice to make but I was disappointed to see the coupon rendered worthless.

Disregard my last post! Make sure to call LEGO Shop At Home regarding the free shipping, Brickmaster Coupon and Web Deals. I called them and was given all 3 discounts! As usual, LEGO's customer service sets them apart from any other toy company out there! The people who work at Shop at Home are top notch.

David,
I tried entering several codes and the sale prices online were not reflected in my cart. I called LEGO and mentioned that I was unhappy that I couldn't take advantage of the sales and the rep helped me out and took care of me. She gave me the clearance prices on the Hobby and Holiday Trains, the Brickmaster 5 dollars off coupon and the free shipping! I should have never doubted LEGO and called them before my 1st post today. Their customer care is the best! Perhaps you can call LEGO and ask them to help you out.
