RichardAM reports that the in-store catalogue in his local Argos now has an extra page inserted for the Prince Of Persia sets, and sure enough, four of the sets are now listed on the Argos website. The Fight for the Dagger is the one that's missing.

What's more, he says the insert also advertises the collectable minifigures! They'll cost £1.99 and will be available from 1st May, which is a Saturday. I can just imagine doing a 'reserve and collect' online for 60 bags (they come in cases of 60), then seeing the surprised expression on the Saturday girl behind the counter's face when you go and pick them up :-)

£1.99? wow thats good :)

YEAH!!!! >:D the collectable mini figs are comin' out!!! so 1.99 pounds would be about 2.45 american dollers?
p.s. i saw on big bad toy store site that the 'yellow box' ( box that has 60 mini figs) was $ 120.00. and that seems REALLY expensive, cuz if each mini fig is $2.45, then $2.45 X 60= 147.00? ( i used a caclulator)
then 1.99 X 60= 119.40. so i guess i was looking at pounds not dollers.

I'm going to buy the ostrich race for the....er Ostiches, apart form that I'm not interested.

I'll be getting some collectable minifigs, are there 16 different ones in the first set? We should set up a swap shop. Hope they get them for £1.99 in Toys R us, be able to have a good feel aroud to see if I can get the ones I want.

They movie is coming out in the summer, saw the movie preview, it looks good.

Has it been announced where the Collectible Minifigs will be sold? I assume the official Lego Stores and, from this article, Argos as well. What stores in the US will sell these? Is the May 1st release date strictly for Argos? Too many questions, I know, but I'm curious.

They have Prince of Persia LEGO sets here in Hungary (which is in Europe in case some of you didn't know). I promise. Here is the link: http://aruhaz.jatekpalota.hu/index.php?pg=list

The page is in Hungarian so you might need to translate it.

If it's £1.99 UK, then it's probably going to be like $4.99 CAD, or $3.99. I don't know, but I plan on getting the Astronaut Fig. My local Toys"R"us has no PoP sets yet :( .

I have just been out and bought the largest of the four available sets. First impressions were' god the box looks small', but we shall now see what parts are inside, and indeed, if its worth £70! I better get building now.

No indication of the POP sets being available in catalogues in either of our local Argos stores, but search online and they have one of each set only. When we chatted to a staff member in store, she said the sets were not going to appear in the catalogue but they did have one of each set in stock. My son bought and has just built the ostrich race set- very nice.

I have built the largest of the four sets and have to say it looks really good once built. The bags were numbered, so building time was quick, about an hour. I think £70 is a little too high, £50 would be more realistic.

Yay! The PoP sets are finally out here!

Though I may wait until they're on S@H so I can buy the Fight for the Dagger as well as some other sets all in one go.

But £1.99? AMAZING! I was expecting £2.50! This is so much better! Huzzah!
