I checked prices on Atlantis sets and I'm surprised how low they were... I thought the HQ would cost as much as the portal but I guess not.

Instead the HQ is listed at 46,50 EUR while the Portal is listed at around 93,20 EUR!

I plan to buy both sets so any news that saves me money is great in my book, so thanks! While checking Ebay I happened to see price rates (CAN to France EUR) so it looks like about 42 EUR will aqual around $55.86 Canadian. I'm just so used to seeing British pounds so when I see 'EUR' I naturally fall on my face!

The Space Police sets also look fairly priced, I'll order them when they come to Canada or the US.

The new Toy Story 3 sets (7597 train and two or three others) were available at a Houston, TX Walmart.

I'm wondering whether Amazon.fr are breaking some kind of embargo by selling these sets so early ? I mean, it's great for them - they'll basically sell out their stock and make a stack of cash because nobody else is selling the sets yet, but other stores can't be too happy that their customers are flocking to Amazon.fr.....

Walmart in Massapequa NY had these sets too. I was shocked! Shocked I tell you.

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 01 May 2010 10:04

I have been told by lego that the uk is not due any new sets until at least June.

I saw the Train (7597) and Trash Compactor (7596) on the shelf in the Walmart in Mt. Pleasant Michigan Yesterday. They also had a spot on the shelf for Lotso's Dump Truck. I think (if I remember correctly) the prices were $80 for the train, $50 for the Compactor, and $20 for the Dump Truck.
