I popped into my local Lego Brand Store this evening and was surprised to see many of the mid-2010 sets already on the shelf !

Sets included - Toy Story 3; Space Police 3; Kingdoms (including Battle Packs & Impulse sets); City (including the new trains, the truck & the airport); and World Racers.

No sign yet of - the new Star Wars, the new Atlantis, the new Creator, Hero Factory, or new Technic. (HP isn't expected until much later in the year anyway)

We'd been under the impression that these weren't planned for release in the UK until next week, so it's great news that Lego has decided to release them early

You have a local brand store? Lucky...

I really need to go to a brand store and get some Kingdoms sets.

cool except for the ''no star wars, antlantis, hero factory"

Posted by StarWarsManiac in United States, 28 May 2010 06:58

Oh, when I went to a Lego Store in the USA I saw Toy Story 3, Space Police 3, Kingdoms (except the '30061: Attack Wagon' and '30062: Target Practice'), City (I forget the specific sets though), World Racers, Atlantis, Creator (maybe), and Technic (again, maybe). This looks like a good year for Lego! :-)

The're also in Holland including:
Space Police, World racers, kingdoms, star wars, toy story, city, here factory and creator

So does this mean that the Kingdoms are meant to be in TRU etc next week?

Sorry to be a bit off topic but are the stores at the discovery centres (trafford) brand stores?

Posted by Sky-guardian in United States, 28 May 2010 12:59

Does anyone know if there in the U.S. yet???

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 28 May 2010 13:03

No; the Discovery Centres are owned & run by 'Legoland', not Lego (Lego sold the 'Legoland' parks to Merlin Entertainment about 5 years ago). The only 'Brand Stores' in the UK are in Milton Keynes, Brighton & at the Bluewater mall near Dartford in Kent. However, we've heard that the shops at Legoland Windsor may have some of the new sets, so the Trafford LDC may too ... do let us know if you find out :-)

Which is your local store? I wondered about going to Bluewater this weekend.

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 28 May 2010 13:28

Milton Keynes, but all UK Brand Stores should have the same stock, unless they've sold out ... which is the case with the Collectable Minifigs at Milton Keynes (i.e. they don't have any left at the moment).

Going to a Lego Store unfortunately for me costs about as much as the whole of the Kingdoms range or more, let alone the long journey of at least a few hours. However, hopefully this means that they will be added to Shop@Home soon seeing as they can't be long selling the products in stores without selling them online (such as for me)

There not online tho :(

Yes they are out inthe USA as well... at TRU (Target not yet). Kingdoms (all but Attack wagon and Target practice), they had the Airport and the other jet as well finally (after seeing them on eBay from Australia for so long), Also Toy Story 3 (all sets), Atlantis, and Space Police. I did not notice any new Creator, or if the Technix of WOrld Racer were new but they seemed to have a lot, so likely new. No new Star Wars though or anything else, and definately no trains yet.... can't wait for those. (We missed up and let the last Cargo train go at Christmas, and the prices are now rediculous).

Does anyone know the prices of the new sets? Bluemoose, can you remember the prices of the ones you saw? Thanks a lot.

Posted by Grimbo in United Kingdom, 29 May 2010 09:48

Just to confirm, Legoland Windsor had all the new Kingdoms sets as well as all the new City sets... including 8403!

Posted by broomhandle in United States, 29 May 2010 14:26

all the city and the others are out in the USA, but no trains or star wars yet. has anybody else seen mid '10 star wars or trains in the USA?

Hi Iam new here , I have been looking at this site now for a couple of years and thought I would join in . Anyway back to the subject .

I actually found the airport and passenger plane in the milton keynes store all the way back in february I think it was and picked up the Passenger plane . Since then it has obvius it has gone up as I was lucky at the time to pay only £30 [now £35] .

Also in other words on lego.com in the uk I have actually found the world racer sets . Iam afraid for the momment they dont have the theme tag up so you will have to type them up individually e.g Snake canyon . Any here's the prices of the ones I found there .

Snake canyon 57 pieces $9.99 £7.99 , Jagged jaws reef 191 pieces $19.99 £17.99 , Wreckage road 292 pieces $29.99 £24.99 , Gator swamp 354 pieces $39.99 £34.99 , Blizzards peak 504 pieces $59.99 £49.99 and Desert of destruction 961 pieces $89.99 £74.99 .

Personnly I think most of them are quite pricey in the uk especially 8863 .

Has anybody been to Bluwater to see if they have the new sets in the store there? I like the look of the Gator Swamp and Kingdom sets. Thanks a lot!
