Interesting... at the back page, at the lower-right corner, there's the ad for Brickfest, and what do you know? There's an image with a yellow Classic Space minifig with ORIGINAL HELMET! It's the first time ever that we see LEGO show an ooooold piece in YEARS! Amazing! Could it return?

Thanks, yellowcastle! I'm looking forward to the higher-resolution images. By the way, on the back, it says, "...the new IMAX 3D movie Hubble 3D!" Wasn't that movie was released much earlier this year? If so, I'm sorry that I missed it. If not, I'm looking forward to seeing it!

@ Alemas - Unfortunately, Brickfair is a "Fan Organized and Financed" event and the advert on the back of the calendar appears to simply be the Brickfair "Logo" this year. :o/

@Toa Of Justice: That movie has been out for months, or at least in my close proximity (not close enough to be local, but not far enough to be a 'day trip.' That Hubble 3D Building challenge does seem interesting if they run it everywhere.

@yellowcastle: Hm, ok... Too bad, would have been nice...

@Orange Lemons: Thanks. If I have time, I'll see whether it's playing in my area. Last time I checked closer to the release date, it wasn't showing at my local theater.

Did you see the coupon? Not to be ungrateful or anything but half off the build a minifig? I think it should be free but that's better than a Prince of Persia Duplo Brick like in the April Promo. I suppose however, the logic is no promo shall exceed $5 USD and they reduced the spend to $50 USD so maybe that's fair. I prefer the double points but that's just me.

What may I ask is "Build a mini"? Are they pre-packaged products?! Custom picks? Online? Or is it the same thing offered at LegoLand?

Posted by ceroknight in Canada, 13 Jul 2010 16:24

yea like ypres im confused what the 'build a mini 3 pack' is ... Is it the collectable minifigs in threes?

Posted by xbobby7x in United States, 13 Jul 2010 17:02

build a mini is something at the lego stores that you can do. you get a package that fits three minis in it. there is a table in the store that has random heads, hair or hats, body, and legs plus random objects that the mini can hold. my son loves it. just feel bad for the peeps who work there because there is mini parts all over the place and they are constantly cleaning up after the kids.

thank you xbobby7x

ceroknight do you know if they have them at the LDCs?

Posted by ceroknight in Canada, 13 Jul 2010 18:21

@legocoastguard: i have no idea what 'them' is and what the LDCs are :S sorry

The IMAX Hubble 3D movie has been out for a long time. I saw it in January or February.
I've never seen the build a mini 3 pack thing before. I have seen the build a mini before at LEGOLAND, but it was like ten bucks for only three 'figs and they had a REALLY bad selection there. Maybe they have a better pieces now...
