There's lots of new sets in the new Argos catalogue, including Hero Factory, Technic and Star Wars. Unfortunately it's not that easy to identify them so you'll have to visit Argos' LEGO shop and hunt through. I had heard rumours of 3 for 2 on Toy Story sets but there's no mention of it on the website. There are, however, some healthy reductions on Prince of Persia sets.

3-4-2 could be 33% off or cheapest free... Better check...

The 3 for 2 Toy Story is instore only. If you reserve anything online it will applied at the checkout when you pick it up.
Great savings with some of the sets already reduced.

Interesting that they have the Tantive 4 at Argos now, all be it for £30 more than it can be had directly from Lego.

This offer IS available online at Argos now on all Toy Story sets - not just Toy Story 3. The offer is on until the 24th August. Search for the item you want - click on the 'special offer available' link, add 3 items to your basket and you are good to go to get the cheapest item free.

Hmm, NXT at £180, compared with £200 at S@H. Yet the Apple Tree House is £40 compared with £35 at S@H.
A couple of the games are slightly cheaper than S@H too.
What's this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3885545/Trail/searchtext%3ELEGO+PRODUCTS.htm ? I haven't seen that before.

Its some kind of stop motion camera.

I think it is essentially a digital camcorder. Seems to be very small, and with it being cheap too, I imagine it doesn't do much more than take mobile phone camera style video. I could be wrong though, maybe it is a bit better than that.

some of the past sets have gone up in price

City Corner was £39.99 now £46.99 [originally £41.99 ] £5 more
Apple tree house was £34.99 now £39.99 [originally £34.99] £5 more
Police Truck was £29.99 now £36.99 [originally £29.99 ] £7 more
Echo base was £19.99 now £22.99 [originally £21.99] £1 more
Fire pickup truck was £8.99 now £9.99 [originally £7.99 ] £2 more
Lighting repair truck was £8.99 now £9.99 [originally £8.99 ] £1
Rotor Resque was £8.99 now £9.99 [originally £8.99 ] £1 more
Helicopter was £13.99 now £14.99 [originally £13.99 ] £1 more

I reckon lego will rise prices in the uk for lego again as Argos dont usually hike set prices up unless there store exclusives e.g Tantive IV . So if you live in the uk and want one the above I suggest you try and get one of those from a retailer who hasn't risen the rrp up yet e.g John lewis and Toys r us.

The Atlantis prices are plain weird.
Explorartion HQ: $50 S@H USA, £40 S@H UK, £40 Argos is pretty reasonable.
Undersea Explorer: $40 S@H USA, £40 S@H UK, £45 Argos is pretty insane, even for an exclusive !
At least the Neptune Carrier is now down to £27
