they do look cool! i'll buy every one

Posted by junkyjerk in Germany, 18 Jan 2008 15:05

i don´t know, they don´t fit into my city sets because they are oversized i think... i won´t buy any of them, don´t like them

Posted by Pegasi in United States, 18 Jan 2008 15:39

I don't like the look of the minifigs...

Posted by danim in United Kingdom, 18 Jan 2008 16:13

they look amazing although what typ of jetpack is that (where is the jets)

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 18 Jan 2008 16:18

I think the minifigs are awesome!!! But, my favourite sets are Mission 4 and Mission 5. Mission 4 has the sleek 'Alpha Teamy' boat with flick fire missile armed NEW sharks and a sweet buoy to put hostages on. Mission 5 has all I could want from an Agents set - A pretty cool brick built car complete with 'Die Another Day' style front machine guns and back mortars, a nice NEW laptop piece, a 'crashable' enemy outpost gate with barbed wire, and a villain's helicopter.

Despite what I have just said, I would say the best parts of the range are: Mission 1 Weapon arm / Barbed wire pieces / NEW sharks / Awesome fighter jet which reminds me of Megabloks :)

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 18 Jan 2008 16:19

Oh, and danim, that's odd isn't it. It's either a mini helicopter starpped to his back or a jetpack. Or a mix of the 2!

Posted by shadowaisha, 18 Jan 2008 16:20

Please, tell me they didn't hire Mega-block techys for this job. Mission one and two look fin though, and I like the barbed wire pieces too.

Posted by blowfish2, 18 Jan 2008 16:44

They look sort of cool, yet sort of weird. I like the arm piece in Mission 2. It's what I've always wanted. A way to attach stuff other than hands to your minifig's arms!

Posted by hustla187 in United States, 18 Jan 2008 18:23

At least they have guns.

Posted by Toa Kongu in United States, 18 Jan 2008 18:31

I want 3,4 and 6 these are awesome but look a little to much like Alpha Team,in other news 1,2 and 5 make me wana throw up!

Posted by halfpenguinhalflego in United Kingdom, 18 Jan 2008 18:39

Those shark like helmets will be useful and look at that cool helipack(not jetpack!)

Posted by halfpenguinhalflego in United Kingdom, 18 Jan 2008 18:42

Sorry for double posting but im only going to buy some for new pieces the sharks look way too mega bloks!Gives me the chills just thinking of that name.

Posted by kerrmando in United States, 18 Jan 2008 19:15

looks like some cool new pieces thanks for posting

Posted by Toa Kongu in United States, 18 Jan 2008 19:33

why does the guy in the first set who is driving the car have gold hair?

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 18 Jan 2008 20:14

I think the pieces look too stylisized. They look too much like mega blocks

Posted by rockdog3, 18 Jan 2008 20:41

Yea, I can see where that Megablok thing is coming from. BUT, There are some cool new things in there like what everyone said. I like the chainsaw arm. thats TIGHT! My first agent set would probably be the Mission 4: Speedboat Rescue. Otherwise, not a bad theme! :)

Posted by exo-forever11 in Canada, 18 Jan 2008 20:55

OMG these look great but, since when is lego so violent? In all the box imgs they show the agents shooting but missing alot but its kinda obvious whats gonna happen (every bad guy is gonna have rounds blown in em'). Also on every box they show 3 agents each wielding a gun (thats a bit 2 far). Fortunately one of them has night goggles on so I'm REALLY wanting some new goggles. These look pretty cool!

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 18 Jan 2008 21:44

can someone please tell me the abrieveations that are used here, they confuse me. the only one i can think of now is tlc, but i know theres more, id realy apriciate it

Posted by water jedi 17 in United States, 18 Jan 2008 22:24

Has anybody noticed that they have star wars guns? Also each set seems to have a different villans. The one I like is 8632.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 18 Jan 2008 22:49

im sorry dwarf vader, but why would it mean" tender loving care, thats just silly. fighters meaning actualy fits in. thanks fighter

Posted by rockdog3, 18 Jan 2008 23:06

Yea, I noticed too exo-forever. Lego really has..... how to say it... I don't know, but the violence, has "boosted" up. With all the guns, rockets, bullets, and such. But, I like it!

Posted by rockdog3, 18 Jan 2008 23:47

I've never seen James Bond either. Do the flick launching missles work?(Not particularly from this set)

Posted by rockdog3, 18 Jan 2008 23:48

I mean the other sets

Posted by rockdog3, 19 Jan 2008 00:07

Well, thats the bad thing about LEGO sets when they have those missle firing things, most don't really work. Like the exo-force disc launcher thing. When you try to fire a disc, some pop out of the top. Sometimes, I wonder if LEGO tests their products.

Posted by rockdog3, 19 Jan 2008 00:19

Yea, I am reffering to that.

Posted by fubuki in Japan, 19 Jan 2008 00:20

I must agree with previous comments, regarding set design. It feels kindof like "Jack Stone meets Alpha Team". The truck in M1 and chopper in M5 are particularly nauseating.
This said, the sets do have some merits - barbed wire, new helmets, new arm part (so glad this is found in a smaller set!), new faces, radio-controlled cyborg animals (Dr. Evil comment anyone?), lotsa weapons.
As an AFOL the violence passes for me, but geeze, think of the kids! It HAS gone a little too far lately. I guess because the agents are all bad shots it makes it OK. Im still trying to figure out who the agent is M5 is firing his front-mounted guns at...
The laptop part almost looks like a book with stickers inside - I hope this assumption is wrong. I see the cartoon agent wearing goggles in the box art, but its not obvious if this piece exists in any of the set images.
Dwarf Vader - if you look close at M3, the agent on the bike is holding a grey handgun. Hard to tell if this is a new mold.
Oh yeah, and did anyone else notice that the mission6 box says "batteries included"??

Posted by fubuki in Japan, 19 Jan 2008 01:27

The cordak blaster works quite well actually. Just takes some getting used-to. Make sure you cover the small hole on the back completely with your thumb, or there is no air pressure generated to launch them.

Posted by peppermintmecha in United Kingdom, 19 Jan 2008 07:37

I love these sets! But once again, a lego theme with not one Girl who actually has a significant role, other than to be rescued...
Not since Alpha Team has there been any good girls!
Other than that, these sets look like they'll rock, Im buying the lot!

Posted by madwolf, 19 Jan 2008 07:41

Lego are coming away from basic pieces.
I don't like it

Posted by exo-forever11 in Canada, 19 Jan 2008 09:45

I know its been said that they have SW guns but in some of them they have "batman" machine pistols. So its not all gonna be SW blasters.
I really want the gold robbery or whatever. it looks cool.

Posted by blowfish2, 19 Jan 2008 10:39

The special pieces are sort of like Mega Bloks, I'll admit, but there still are a few basic pieces. About Mega Bloks... They have around 200 pieces in a $60 set! LEGO has about 450. Those are guesstamates, by the way. But you get the idea.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 19 Jan 2008 11:21

Its the closest they can get to James Bond.

Posted by marcussmithAFTERTHECRASH, 19 Jan 2008 13:32

I like the first set the most. Some of the sets resemble older sets like the one with a figure that looks like Doc-Ock from Spider Man.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 19 Jan 2008 14:42

so what are your guyses favorite agent sets? mine would definetly be swamp hunt 8632

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 19 Jan 2008 15:04

Mine too,but dosent the wepons look cool

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 19 Jan 2008 15:16

the wepon looks ok, but its hard to see

Posted by rockdog3, 19 Jan 2008 15:40

I like the speedboat rescue, probably beacuse of the sharks, and of the course the boat.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 19 Jan 2008 17:25

i dont realy like the boat that much, the sharks i admit are sweet, but im not buying the set just for them

Posted by Commander Bacara, 20 Jan 2008 00:26

The jet in Mission 1 kind of reminds me of EDI from the movie STEALTH. I also think that because I'm trying to think about anything else that doesn't have to do with me clicking on the Cloverfield thread at FBTB. Must...resist...spoilers!!! ;)

Posted by Commander Bacara, 20 Jan 2008 00:29

Sorry about the double post but I forgot to say something.

Doesn't this seem a little violent for LEGO? Seriously, is this intended for LEGO's younger audience? The huge-normous guns, the alligators and sharks with missiles strapped on their backs, you get my point.

I'll still but the sets no madder what.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 20 Jan 2008 01:16

i like the voilence, its not that bad, kids can handle it

Posted by dragon_teenager in United States, 20 Jan 2008 13:25

The only thing I seriously dislike is the stupid Nazi-looking bad guys. Otherwise the Agent vehicles are awesome, and I don't think they look too "stylized" at all. Besides the sharks I'm not noticing many Megablocks parallels, don't know where that's coming from. Besides, that's nothing compared to the Dino Attack sets, even from a violence perspective. I'll definitely get a couple.

If it wasn't for the horrible enemy vehicles this would likely be my favorite theme of 08.

Posted by brickguy01, 20 Jan 2008 19:56

The sets look cool, but I agree with other people that LEGO is heading to violence. The hand-guns look like real guns. I'm not worried about kids, thay can handle it, but it disturbes me that how vilontent LEGO has become. They look really cool, and I'll probably get a few.

Posted by jimmybob, 20 Jan 2008 21:17

I`ll probably buy the first four. The vehicles look awsome, great for customizing. Also, the new sharks, guns, heads and other new pieces look awsome. It looks kind of similar to Alpha Team but more violent.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 21 Jan 2008 11:41

The Agent pics have been removed from Eurobricks by Lego request!!!!!

:( :( :( ah well, I've got them saved somewhere :)!!

Posted by ChicoCheco in Norway, 21 Jan 2008 12:27

Lego company should make a more Lego City sets (houses, cars, trains) instead of creating this stupid action sets!

Posted by ChicoCheco in Norway, 21 Jan 2008 12:30

Pictures of Lego Agents is here:

I have to admit that desigh of fighter jet is quite cool. But where is elegance of James Bond?

Posted by Commander Bacara, 21 Jan 2008 20:20

Grr...pics are all gone. I forgot to save them so I went on a mad rush on Brickshelf to save all the pics before they all went away. Lol

It's interesting that the thumbnail is still on this topic though. Still, you can't make out too much detail with that thumbnail.

Posted by manmythic in Canada, 22 Jan 2008 15:27

You've got to be kidding me. Dumb looking.

Posted by jackishigh! in United States, 23 Jan 2008 01:19

There'd better be some Agent impulse sets, too!

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 23 Jan 2008 11:06

Looks like there are. Look at the set list!

Posted by Jabbabob, 24 Jan 2008 07:06

Agents my foot! These sets have mixed weapons, sloppy appearances, and I just don't believe TLC would do them. Too Violent.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 24 Jan 2008 20:32

aww tlc made brickset take off the agensts picks='(

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 25 Jan 2008 12:47

The Agent Pics are back!!! They're on Eurobricks.com again!!!

Posted by ARC170Dinofighter in Canada, 25 Jan 2008 21:38

I don't like 'em. The're too high-tech, evan starwars remains lower than this. I mean serriosly, more mutant creatures? This time with missiles weilded on to them? And there's other weird stuff too... I can't take it all ion at once. I might by the snow kill one but that's it. MIGHT.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 26 Jan 2008 00:19

i was wondering do you guys think you could yous that helmet that covers the jaw on the bad guys and use it to make a darht malek mf? it would be cool to have one

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 26 Jan 2008 00:23

for those who dont know who he is-

Darth Malak was a bald, pale-skinned human. His head was adorned with a large durasteel plate that covered his face from below the nose on down. The prosthetic was made necessary by a ghastly injury that completely severed his lower jaw. (The Star Wars official databank states that he lost it in a lightsaber duel.

(taken from this sight, visit it and read about him)

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 26 Jan 2008 00:30

oh sry for all the posts guys but i forgot to say the "could be darth malek mask" is in set 8632, just so you know.
