Of course by "All", TRU means all except for Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Pharaoh's Quest.  Valid this Friday and Saturday (11/19 & 11/20) with coupon.  This promotion is also available on-line by entering promotional code 941747 at checkout.  This a great opportuntity to stack discounts as TRU has already marked some sets down for the season.  Assuming that there are not any hidden exceptions, you could, for example, pick up two Public Transports for $60 each.  Additionally, the coupon denotes no other exclusions so it's possible you could use this code on some of the LEGO Direct sets, Power Functions, road plates, and train tracks on-line... provided TRU doesn't pull them all out of stock tonight.  Having reviewed all of the forthcoming Black Friday deals, this is definitely the best deal so far.  Be sure to check if the discount applies to multiple pairs of items in your cart before checking out though.

I think Target is running a similar deal. Buy 1, Get 2nd 50% Off on World Racers, Harry Potter and Atlantis.

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 18 Nov 2010 18:52

Currently, Target has a B1G150% off on Prince of Persia and Harry Potter, expiring on Saturday. Of course, new deals are popping up everyday... :o) You can't really beat this 2 Day TRU sale, though, when you take into account the already discounted Castle, Public Transport, etc.

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 18 Nov 2010 19:13

Okay, I'd expect TRU to exclude Star Wars, since Harry Potter is a licensed theme I'd expect it, but Pharaoh's Quest? I didn't even know that was out and it's not even a licensed theme! I don't really shop at TRU unless I'm looking for an exculsive, but this deal would have me telling people to shop for me there, except all I want is Star Wars this year.

@yellowcastle - When you typed "Target has a B1G150% off on Prince of Persia and Harry Potter" I thought you typed 'Target has a BIG 150% off on Prince of Persia and Harry Potter'. I was like, cool, WAIT! That would mean they would pay you 50% of the total price! Then I read it over again and got what you said.

P.S. Does anyone know where you can find Pharaoh's Quest?

Posted by cjg in United States, 18 Nov 2010 19:41

@Jarod: Sadly, no. :(

Posted by camoran in Anonymous Proxy, 18 Nov 2010 20:21

@Jarod - Lego store already stocked them. 7306 and 7307 look cool, but I will wait till the end of 2011 if they will be on clearance.

Does TRU carry the modular building sets like Green Grocer, Grand Emporium, etc?

Posted by madforLEGO in United States, 18 Nov 2010 22:04

@Miamigrrl: The Green Grocer is sold out everywhere (unless you happen to find them at a lego store) TRU does not seem to have any Grand Emporium, but does have the Fire Brigades in stock online.

Posted by diehardlegofan in United States, 18 Nov 2010 22:21

Oh my gosh. I am getting sick of this. I would be excited if it was buy on get one free. A BOGOF

Posted by iam_pekkle in Hong Kong, 18 Nov 2010 23:08

I cannot apply the discourt when I enter the code 941747, can somebody tell me what happen?

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 18 Nov 2010 23:12

It's only valid this Friday and Saturday during certain hours.

Posted by skullsndogbones in United States, 19 Nov 2010 01:05

It does work on the sets which are already discounted. I just ordered 2 of the King's Castle for $135.13 (including sales tax, free shipping)

Posted by madforLEGO in United States, 19 Nov 2010 01:10

Yep the Coupon is valid now. Got a couple of Fire Brigades

Posted by miamigrrl in United States, 19 Nov 2010 01:10

Online code is live as of 12:30am eastern. @madforlegos: Thanks for the reply. I ordered the fire brigade set!

Posted by madforLEGO in United States, 19 Nov 2010 01:27

@miamigrrl: You are Welcome.(Although I wish they had the Grand Emporium set up on the site, but I notice that one seems to come and go.. right around the time of these sales as it were.). You can also get the Transport sets with the sale price and the discount which is nice as well.

Posted by MCNwakeboard in United Kingdom, 19 Nov 2010 08:25

Toysrus.com now has the PHARAOH'S QUEST sets, but as was mentioned above, it is not included in this discount although they are selling them at Lego MSRP...for now

Was anyone able to apply the B1G1 50% off to the sale items (Kings castle, Public Transport)? It didn't work for me.

Posted by ncbarrett in United States, 19 Nov 2010 09:10

alot of the new 2011 sets are one tru.com and can be used with the bogo 50%
including new creator and atlantis sets

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 19 Nov 2010 10:01

None of these new sets were available online last night.... Log House!

Posted by voypro in United States, 19 Nov 2010 10:02

@Jarod98 and all - 3 days ago, picked up Pharoahs quest 7306 Golden Staff Guardian (70 pcs set) I got it at TRU for an unbelievable $9.99 (compared to the SW battle pack or Harry Potter dobby set which are $14.99 there) they also had the 500+ Rise of the Sphinx set for $49.95)

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 19 Nov 2010 10:04

The code works perfectly fine with the Public Transport and/or new sets.

Posted by legomaniac in United States, 19 Nov 2010 10:47

I couldn't pass up the new log cabin, and also got the new robot half off. :D which the S&H just under $50 which I had to pay S&H :(

Posted by legogirl19 in United States, 19 Nov 2010 10:52

---------Buyers Beware-------
you can only use the promo code once if you enter Rewards R Us member #, I ordered the Kingdom Castle and Public Transport in one order online . Then went back and decided to purchase 2 Fire Brigades, and the system would NOT add the promo code for discount! Bummer! I'll have to see if I can find it in store, or simply do not get the rewards for the purchase! Although, maybe they will honor a retro-credit request!

Posted by ncbarrett in United States, 19 Nov 2010 12:56

it appears you can currently get the new pharaohs sets at bogo50. Get 'em before they fix it.

Posted by lady_bricker in United States, 19 Nov 2010 13:37

@legogirl - you might try emptying your cache and cookies and trying again without using your member #.
The code worked fine for sale items - great price on public transport.

Posted by pandax in United States, 19 Nov 2010 13:49

Is there any way to remove the membership number in my account? or I need to create a new account in order to use the promotion code again?

Posted by lady_bricker in United States, 19 Nov 2010 13:51

@legomaniac - should have bought a small set to bring your total up, basically getting it for free! :)

i am super tempted by the log cabin .. two for 45 bucks with the alternate builds .. argh .. have spent so much holiday $ on lego already.

Posted by neoroark in United States, 19 Nov 2010 16:06

just ordered Emerald Night and Medieval Market Village, thanks for the tip!

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 19 Nov 2010 18:43

Thanks to everyone for all the great tips. I believe we had issues before using a promo code twice online when tying in our single Rewards member number. So, we just ended up leaving off the Rewards number for our second purchase and it went through fine. I'm sure, though, we had to clear our cookies for the second purchase. We should probably just get a second rewards card for my wife so as to avoid this in the future.

Posted by BRIANbuilds in United States, 19 Nov 2010 20:42

Has anyone noticed the new Police sets up at Toysrus.com, in stock for shipping.
Combine that with this deal and maybe you'll get new sets at great prices!

Posted by mjenk430 in United States, 19 Nov 2010 21:28

You just have to clear cache and cookies between orders. Ordered 2 fire brigades, then ordered 2 emerald night, then 2 more emerald night. I wanted Medieval Market and Imperial Flagship, but it is already shown as sold out. This is a great way to get some of the "exclusive" sets for a discount.

Posted by pandax in United States, 19 Nov 2010 22:03

Dear all, thanks for you tips and I am able to order 2 Imperial Flagship this morning and 2 Emerald Night now. Apart from clear the cookies and cache, it didn't work if I login to my account first, then add the item to my cart and checkout. I don't know why but I tried many times this morning. This time I just add the items, proceeed to checkout and login to account, it works.

Posted by BRIANbuilds in United States, 19 Nov 2010 22:05

Also sad that Green Grocer is sold out or I would have promptly got one Fire Brigade, one Green Grocer. Two Fire Brigades is still good. Also got the old police station (7744?) and Public Transport (both at $79.99)

Posted by MatrixQuest in United States, 20 Nov 2010 11:41

Great headsup, I also got 2 of the fire brigades...I wish the plaza had been available...but oh well...the bricks from the 2nd fire brigade should make a nice abandoned warehouse/factory for Gotham.

There is a $15 off with $100 purchase at Toysrus (Online Only until Jan 15, 11). Enter promo code "CHRISTMASGIFT". U can use this code together with Buy one get one 50% off (until tonight). After u input 2 codes, the free shipping offer will be gone, so u need to call customer service to credit back to u.

Posted by xena6296 in United States, 20 Nov 2010 23:24

@pandax: thank you for the "code", like you said, free shipping will be gone. Did you get the credit back from customer service when you call?

Posted by pandax in United States, 20 Nov 2010 23:35

@xena6296: I saw in other forum some people can do it. After I complete the order, I call the CS. At first the CS staff refused to credit back the shipping, keep saying I can only have $15 off or free shipping. When I told him there is no promo code for free shipping and my total purchase is over $100, he kept silent and say will credit back the shipping fee to me. If they didn't credit back to me, I will just cancel my order.

Posted by xena6296 in United States, 20 Nov 2010 23:47

@pandax: Thank you for your info, like you said, if TRU don't honor the free shipping, will just cxl the order in stead. Anyway, lots of stuff has been gone, but just can't let go for the BOGO and $15 off $100. :) Tks again.

Posted by Zrath in United States, 21 Nov 2010 02:41

I ordered two of the Pharaoh's Quest Pyramid sets online and got the BOGOHO to work.
But it only works on the first two sets in an order. If you order a third and fourth set, BOGOHO doesn't work.

I was at a TRU store tonight and tried to get some Pharaoh's Quest set on BOGOHO.
No dice.
So I got a couple of the new Atlantis Angler Fish Attack set instead.
I didn't have the coupon, so I used my Droid to go online and check Brickset, which had a link to a PDF of the coupon. I put the coupon on my Droid screen and zoomed in on the barcode to make it more easily readable. The cashier scanned the onscreen barcode with her scanner gun and it worked! :D
I've only had my Droid for 3 days and it's already 100 times more awesome than my previous cellphone.
I did get a couple of Pharaoh's Quest sets anyway though, because flying mummies and scarabs are cool. :)

Posted by BooMakuta! in United States, 22 Nov 2010 20:24

This is a pretty good sale! I just wish TRU didn't have that "No Star Wars, Harry Potter or Pharaoh's Quest" thing. SW and HP are two of my favorite themes! That's just weird.

Posted by rainstorm26 in United States, 23 Nov 2010 12:59

Target had a coupon in their sale paper on Sunday for 5$ off any 15$ lego set purchase. Plo Koon's fighter was on sale for 19$, plus the 5$ off gave me the set for 14$. Not bad. The coupons are good through Wed.

By the way it appears as if the Hary Potter sets are becoming hard to come by, at least in Target and Toys R Us around me.

Also, toys R Us had a 10$ off coupon for any lego purchase over 50$ for today and tomorow (no restrictions!!!! a.k.a. good on Star Wars/Harry Potter sets).
