The Brickset team is doing a great job at monitoring this site and making it a relevant source of LEGO goodness for people across the Atlantic and beyond to use. I have to say, there are many things I like about this site that make me add it to my favorites bar:
The clean-ness of the site's design; I cannot overstate how crutial this is to the whole site. If a site looks professional, then users are probably going to take it seriously. This site is very well color schemed, and the choice of font is a good representation of its effectivness.
The news, mainly written by HUW, is very fun and interesting to read, with a lot of "unfortunately," "However," "Deals from...," and funny but not innapropriate comments added in the exact manner in which I write for school and journals. It is very interesting to read whatever HUW has to say because he writes with a friendship that lets you know he actually cares about your collection and experiences.
The quality of the photos is, for the most part, exceptional! I now understand why the photos are copyrighted Brickset...if they weren't, then people would use them as stock photos! They are truly works of art, and I encourage HUW to keep that camera flashing and to add more themes onto the minifig browser.
The links to Eurobricks are especially helpful and entertaining. I never would have found the great reviews that influenced what I bought if it weren't for that site. I was considering buying 5764 Creator "Rescue Robot," but after reading the review, decided to spend my money elsewhere, which is how I ended up with the fantastic ADU figure I have. So kudos to those reviews aswell.
