Hmmm, I think my only complaint is more of just a pet peeve of mine. The Hobbit should not be a subtheme of The Lord of the Rings. Not that this is too relevant; it would just be more convenient when trying to look at just LOTR sets. While they have several crossovers and take place in the same world, they are still two entirely different books/series. They deserve to have their own themes, like Lego Shop@Home has them.

Searching: what bugs me most is that if I search: sw, lotr, potc or other abbreviations, I get nothing, maybe that could be fixed a bit?

Not only the reviews, but the list of sets within the themes. My favorite order or sets is date of release with the newest at the top and oldest at the bottom. Loading the page with reset cookies automatically sets the list to ascending set number.

Honestly, the hardest thing I've tried to do on Brickset was fill out this survey! (I did have some issues typing this all out, perhaps it's my browser). Other than that, not much could be done to improve Brickset, although I'm sure you'll find a way! Perhaps a slight redesign of how the website looks. I like the blue but feel the pages could be a little more modern.

One tiny thing to the box that would help is on my kindle fire tablet, you have to tap "go" on the site page. It does'nt search if you press enter on the touch screen keyboard. Well, I don't know if this a glitch at my end or a browser glitch or something else, but all of the set images and some of the news article images don't actually appear (there's just a blank, white space) on my computer. It's the same on my brother's computer as well. I don't know what the problem is....although some days it's completely fine and other days, there's no images at all. I would like to know where you host the images, so then I can figure out what's wrong with it... :) I just checked now to see if the images show up and they still don't. :S

We could have a page which is dedicated to sets which are nearing their end of their production and are becoming very hard to find. This could then be used to alert people if they really wanted a set that now would be a good time to buy one before it runs out and the secondary market prices hit the roof.

This was exactly what happened to me when i was looking to purchase The Medieval Market Village. (10193) I was saving up and before i knew it Lego stopped selling it and the only way to acquire one was through ebay which was nearly double the price, even just a few days later after it was discontinued. If there was a page that would have alerted me in advance about sets reaching the end of the line, i would have probably bought it and not go on ebay looking at people who wanted £140 for one.

i usually only come to brickset everyday for what's new, in the database and on the shop. all i had to do was open the page and look at the top. the only thing is, now there is a giant news article thingy at the top and i now have to scroll down. the news thing at the top of the homepage is not bad, and is actually a very good idea, i'm just saying maybe you should put it below the new updates. also, please don't change the entire homepage because of this, i'm just saying it would be nicer. but awesome job with the absolutely wonderful website.

I can't say much on this, but I would like some better brick-list features. This is one of my favorite parts of the site, but there's not much to it. I really would like to be able to rate brick-lists on a scale.

I also would like to have a "random button" in that where you press it, it takes you to a random set in the database. We have the random set feature on the right side of the home page, but this new feature would make things more fun and also let me have something to do while I'm waiting for something to download or install, etc.

Really, this site meets all my needs. Nothing is needed as far as I'm concerned. I do think, that a feature allowing users to submit images of sets and be approved by moderators and voted on by the public to be displayed on set pages would be cool (in it's own tab). Although this does require image hosting space and there are other websites that already do this like BrickLink, I do think this would be a positive addition to the site. As said before, it would require space for image hosting which, of course, costs money. Keep up the good work!

Although the site is primarily devoted to a database of sets and collection management at the moment, I think there is room for expansion, so perhaps something like a MOC of the week article could be introduced at some point. Currently Brickset is, in my opinion, the best Lego database on the Internet, but I think it could be possible to make it simply the best resource for all things Lego related in the long term.
