Funny little set !

Posted by adam85 in Hungary on 17 November 2009

I like mini Technic set like this. They are not complex and the build is very easy but they have very clever technical solutions.
This mini bulldozer have only one function: you can raise and lower the blade. You can also build a mini excavator from the parts. The excavator has a movable crane arm, and it is turnable. I offer this small but very funny and clever set for every AFOL who is interested in Technic and it is good for kids too.

Decent small set

Posted by Schar in New Zealand on 07 August 2009

My 3-year old loves it!

However, one thing to watch for (same for some of the other mini sets this year) - the gears like to fall off the front axles. Seems that both gears and wheels like falling off the self terminating axles; I guess they are slightly smaller than normal axles / cross studs.

Dinky

Posted by sitting.duc in New Zealand on 15 February 2009

I bought this to complement the rather bigger 8275 I bought last year.

It is small and dinky and cute.

Build instructions are fairly good - but confusing in one or two places so pay attention. I do question why I need three books to make 2 models?
Final model is good, only real complaint is there is some slop in the worm gear, so the blade can slip up/down a bit.

It looks good parked next to it's big brother :)

I've not built the alternate model (yet)

Cost $19.99 NZD

Great little set

Posted by EdBever on 01 January 2009

This is a great little dozer at a low price. The tracks work fine and the blade operates smoothly. The secondary model looks fine too. My 3-year old likes playing with this set and I enjoyed building it.
