I now have the solution: Subscribe to one of Brickset's new RSS feeds.

If you're using FireFox or Internet Explorer, click on the RSS icon on the toolbar to view and subscribe to them. If you're using another RSS reader, the feed URLs are:

http://www.brickset.com/rss/legoshop/uk/new/ if you're in the UK

http://www.brickset.com/rss/legoshop/us/new/ if you're in the USA

Let me know if you find them useful. I might add others for 'sales and deals' soon.

Limited Edition Mars Mission set

aj bellinger has once again come up with the goods and has sent us pictures of 7649, a limited edition Mars Mission set. I suspect it'll be exclusive to Toys R Us and LEGOshop.com.

Brickset users own over half a million sets between them!

Over the last few days you have collectively added 1000-odd sets to your 'sets I own' lists which now takes the total to over 500,000! Unsurprisingly, the top 25 most owned sets are all Star Wars bar one, and I have to say I'm surprised what that one is (take a look yourself).

Here's to the next half-million!

General Grievous now available from S@H!

The eagerly awaited General Grievous model is now available to order from S@H, £65 in the UK, $90 in the US, which for once is a slightly better exchange rate than usual for Star Wars sets.

It'll be a few days before he appears in our product feed, but don't let that stop you using the yellow link on the left to get to S@H to order him!

Pictures of new Batman sets

An anonymous reader has sent us pictures of the new Batman sets. They look sweet, particularly the tumbler, which to fans of the recent movies, is probably the most recognisable Batman vehicle.

Coastguard sets listed on Amazon

Djsouthtown wrote to say that the coastguard sets are now listed on Amazon UK. However they seem a tad expensive to me. At £70 (or €100 in Germany) for under 1000 pieces they do not compare well with Market Street, for example, which is £10 cheaper and has about 400 more parts. They don't seem to be available from S@H in the US, but I suspect they'll be somewhat less than $150, which the exchange rate would suggest given the European prices.

New Indy Set

This was found on the Japanese Toys R Us site, and would appear to be a TRU exclusive.

UCS General Grevious Image

Thanks to AJ Bellinger who has sent us an image of this forthcoming UCS set, which looks pretty good to me.

Speed Racers Now Available from S@H

The sets are now in the data feed. I picked the yellow/red one up at the weekend in the LEGO brand store in Milton Keynes. It's actually rather good particularly given the price of less than £6 per car (including the 10% Brickish discount). A lot of nice curved pieces and no useless single-use parts.
