Brickset web services

Want to build a Facebook application for Brickset? Or an Android phone app? The Brickset Web Services API provides you with the means to do so.

First, you'll need a key

An API key is required to use the web services.

Initially, individual keys can be used to make up to 100 API calls a day (of the getSets method) which is perfect for testing and educational use. When your app or website is ready to go into production, contact us to request a higher cap, which we will do once we're happy with your usage.

Please note that the API cannot be used to create 'copycat' websites. We reserve the right to revoke keys if they are used for this purpose.

API Version 3

Version 3 was released in 2020. It's more robust and provides responses in JSON making it easier to use.
