Simpsons Series 2 minifigs now in stores
Posted by Huw,
Some Toymaster branches in the UK have started selling The Simpsons series 2 minifigures. Brickset user Mark has a box and has reported the makeup of the boxes, which if I've interpreted the information he's sent me correctly, is as follows:
- Homer - 5
- Marge - 4
- Lisa - 4
- Maggie - 4
- Bart - 5
- Fallout Boy - 4
- Comic Book Guy - 3
- Martin Prince - 3
- Professor Frink - 3
- Hans Moleman - 3
- Selma Bouvier - 3
- Patty Bouvier - 3
- Groundskeeper Willie - 5
- Mrs (Edna) Krabappel - 3
- Waylon Smithers, Jr - 4
- Dr (Julius) Hibbert - 4
So, there are three complete sets in the box and those in bold will be the hardest to find.

so...when are they going to be released in the US?
Today I bought the Simpsons Series 2 minifigs in Germany at Karstadt.
I can not tell you how happy I am to NOT collect these! I love CMF, just not a fan of the Simpsons at all and I need the break. Surprised by the series relevance in the Lego world considering how mature some of the language and material is. But I suppose if LOTR and other suggested violence themes can be Lego branded then why not these guys. Family Guy is next I suppose...
Where is Moe?!
Got Homer Simpson from my local newsagents in the UK today. literally did a little jig when I entered the shop and saw them on sale.
No Ranier Wolfcastle? Nuts!
May 1st I thought was the world wide release date -but I know for North America it's May 1st for sure. Each box has a label - do not put on shelf before may 1st -
I was at a Target today in California and saw 3 packs of the Simpsons series 2. I went to buy them and the registers said not to sell them until May 1st. They sold them to me anyway because it was out on the floor.
I am quite excited by these as I love the Simpsons but think I'm going to save myself £15 and not bother with Bart, Millhouse, Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie. They just aren't different enough!!! Of course that could change when I get caught up in the moment!!! ;-)
Here in Poland or you can get it now and I'm just going to buy today
With my statistics head on this morning, I cannot but think that making an assessment of the overall distribution of figures from a single box is an extrapolation too far.
Well actually all the boxes are the same, sometimes a difference between North America and Europe, but generally they are all the same. Having opened 100s of cases of each series, we use the counts to help identify our blind identity searches.
Not in my local town when I went shopping today. :(
^ Yes, that has proven to be the case in the past, hence posting it here.
Not a fan, so welcoming the break. Though I really do marvel at LEGO insisting that most of the rares are female characters in pretty much every CMF line that has been released..
This one is no different, surprised that Marge was also not a rare, but still made her 'uncommon', same with Maggie and Lisa.
Not a feminist, just annoyed because I think some of the best CMF figures are female and are, by default, apparently always rare.
How, I would tell you that they are already official graphics Ninjago sets of the second half of 2015 Graphics with them before-seen two sets http://www.brincalandia.pt/loja/lego/ninjago/
WhiteFang agrees with the breakdown :)

I collected all of the first series last year just for the pure novelty of it (and also in the hopes that they would go up in value and someday I might sell them). However, I will gladly be passing on this second series and saving my money for the Halloween series and (hopefully) a new regular series next year.
What! no! I still need like all of series 13, Damn Target WHY DIDNT YOU HAVE THEM!
Agree with Missingbrick above, there is little re-use in the heads so I would be buying these for some accessories, torsos, maybe some two-colour short legs. Just not worth it. Even the accessories are mostly printed tiles. I want a couple of the Bartman catapults, maybe Buzz cola cans and Squishies, but I suspect it will be Bricklink rather than packet groping for me this time. These are disappointing as an overall series
My son and I have every cmf made to date (including Mr. Gold. Thank you shopping Gods!) We're in too deep to stop now. Besides, we love the Simpsons.
I can't seam to find a box of them anywhere in south wales UK
Spotted these in Target in Washington, USA.
